The Design: Graphic elements are grounded in authentic, nostalgic and rustic illustrations. A goldfinch, the state bird of New Jersey, represents the outdoor view that is available from inside the restaurant.
The logo mark: Uses a font reminiscent of neon signs hanging in the window of the corner café.
The tagline: Gives a straightforward description of the destination’s offerings. It is approachable just like the comfort foods being served.
Not to long ago I purchased a used camera. I've found a new passion for photography, lighting and the challenge of capturing that raw authentic moment. Using tips from the photographers I work with and through practice, I've slowly started to develop my style. I prefer the light just as the sun is going down. The sense of motion and energy bring the image to life.
I went to Las Vegas High School, back before it was an art academy. I remember sitting in my English class drawing cars, dreaming of owning a 1948 5 window truck.
Some 20 years later, I am a graphic designer and I own a 1948 Buick Super.
